Well the weekend was quiet for me, I stayed home and attended baccalaureate services with my Daughter, and then mostly I worked on sculptures and tried to make a dent in the house cleaning. Paul, on the other hand had to survive a 60 mph wind blast that hit the place where he was displaying his work. He had just made the sculptures secure, when the big blast hit. In the picture he is looking at a large vase that flew down and broke a bunch of bowls, but didn't suffer any damage itself. There were a couple of other large pieces broken, but all was assembled and the show went on Sunday too.
We will be back at it getting ready for the June Studio Tour in New London MN And it's practice time for the band! Mad Cow Band is playing at the Wyanette Town Hall Saturday May 24, 7 to 11pm. This is a benefit to preserve the barn at Amy Sabrina's as a Dance venue. I really need to put a Mad Cow schedule up for our local readers! The band is also performing at the Kanabec History Center this summer.
Well I have several things started down at the shop, and other business to attend to, so I will sign off here. Oh and several customers have taken advantage of my free red daylilies with your etsy order. I am running it for another week.
