Just in time for spring I finished my sheepskin cuffed mitten/gloves. The pair isn't together yet, time to clean the living room!!!   Missing Lily, she's on her band field trip, to New York City. They were to perform for another school today and get coached by their band teacher.  They will see a Broadway show, "Hairspray" and all the other sights.  I am subbing for the band AND choir teachers while they are gone.  The kids are being jerky, and aren't doing the work the the teachers left.  I am disliking the whole bunch of them and have two more days with them.  I've been looking for a job that takes me away from kids.   One ad I answered, or left a message for, was a manufactured housing sales rep.  I do have a background in that since my dad was in the business and was really in the forefront of  modular housing.  We lived in one, and I have knowledge of building things from my experience here on the homestead.  I've been selling stuff most of my working career, and we live in an area where they are building houses.Also thinking of a truck driving licence.  It would be as much of a stretch for me as subbing was almost seven years ago.  I am keeping open  and alert for leads and teaching opportunities.   We will be in Steven's Point WI April 23rd. oops! My fiddle kids have their recital that day. I have to stay home. It's a one day show, Lily can go help Paul! Well back to trying to reinstall my paint shop pro!! another long story...will relate when I resolve the problem!!D
