Spring! It's beautiful ou there today! I have an urge to clean!! Well I just got done subbing. I have one more day as the Band and choir teachers.

  First I want to back up alittle bit. I was always a country music fan, the old stuff. In high school my friends made fun of my musical tastes. Johnny Cash was my favorite.Well, Johnny, June, merle Haggard, etc.

  Today in the General music class we were studying the string instruments(Gen music is for kids that arent in band or choir and this was a group of rowdy 7th grade boys. ) We were studying the instruments, and strings was the category today. I played some fiddle for them ( and I can tell you guys when I play music now I am sending light) Then we went to the choir room and watched some songs from  "Walk the Line" naming the instruments ( I try to squeeze lessons in whenever I can)  It was so cool we were all singing along to the music, me and the bratty sevvies!!!  And I said thanks Johnny!  Thanks for connecting us with the ageless power of your music!  later then, I'm going out to play!
