Entry for July 18, 2006

Oh boy it's been quite a couple of weeks.  I am back online now,and didn't mean to ignore anyone.  A close lighning strike took out my modem, but the good thing about that was as long as I had it in the shop I would replace the disk drive that I've been struggling to fix on warranty with DELL for months. What a joke that warranty!!! Well humping along, I was preparing to go to the art show had to run errands friday cos we're leaving Friday night. okay I get home and there is a truck waiting to repossess my car.  Yep away it went! I am still in shock I think. I told myself to react with love all through the situation.  I saw the real dark side of banking how they treat you when you're on the losing side.  I knew I needed to give them "x" amount of dollars to catch up on the two payments I was behind, then 350.00 fee, then storage fee, then they told me where it was  it was down in the cities 70 miles away.  We drove down there today and retrieved her. Many people helped or offered help.  I am still absorbing it,  many miracles along the way.  But I know because of certain circumstances we are behind right now, I know there are other people that have larger difficulties than me!  My good friend , for example lost their  crop of hay in a fire on their property.  Her internet friends are helping find her some more hay. Ther is good in every adversity.

We have high hopes of the great stuff that's going to be coming out of the kiln this summer and fall, and we have people waiting for it.   I love my job at the cafe , and plan to keep it and sub in between. well i am not whining. I have been through a great learning experience and I am stronger for it! Be careful! Don't get behind on your payments! It's not fun being on the dark side of financing! Love . Denise
