Well we lucked out and got rain for most of yesterday a.m.  It actually helped our yard sale! We were 20 Degrees cooler than most of the rest of the state.  We had a good sale and there is one more day of that.

I get so mad at the weather reports. ITS GONNA BE HOT youre all gonna die!!!!  Come on! It's July in Minnesota it gets hot every year.  Now they have calculated a heat index, much like the wind chill factor for winter, where they tell you how hot it's going to feel.  That lets them predict temps in the hundreds + .  I sincerily wish they could just present the facts without sensationalizing the predictions.  Every turn of the weather is either ABOVE average or BELOW average. When is anything just average anyway???  It makes us sound like a bunch of wimps and it sews fear into the collective conciousness.  IT'S SUMMER, PEOPLE! Go to thelake and cool off...stay in your house by thefan. Enjoy the season for what it brings.  The rain may not have come in time for saving the farmers crops up here, but they know these things happen.  Quit the fear mongering is what I have to say I guess.
