The picture was taken New Year's day. It was a beautiful golden sunrise!   A hopeful beginning to the new year.

My fiddle lessons are done with the week. I feel so blessed to be the fiddle teacher.  As much as I disliked subbing, I really love the kids, and now I'M the teacher, not the sub. I remember all my music teachers, even my piano teacher in St. Cloud. She taught me the word "perserverence". I know that wether the kids go on to be musicians or not they are going to remember me, and I want them to have good memories. It is hard work learning an instrument, and I like to make it as fun as possible.

Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen with my friend, and today we're tackling the living room. My goal is to re-organize. ORGANIZE I hate that word!  It is for grown ups. For anal retentive grown ups. That is my inner child talking! And I have to tell that inner child that being organized will give me more time to play! Budget that's another word I avoid! But I'll talk about that later! Right now, a cup of coffee, and on to the living room.
