Summer is flying by here! Sent Daughter off with her cousins to Hawaii yesterday!  Lucky kid eh?  Well I sure would not have turned down such an opportunity.  and I am glad her Aunt and Uncle asked her along on the trip.  Strangest thing ..... I got a call from my best friend last night from San Francisco.   She ran into my Daughter in a  rest room at the airport in SF!!!! She got to meet all the relatives.   That just blows me away! Coincidence, my gosh what would be the chances of actually finding someone out there if you were trying?   That will go down as a family legend for sure.

It's going to be another hot day,or so the forcasters say.I  always worry about my rabbits when it gets hot, and I am glad I get off work today at one so I can monitor them. I have a bunch of sculptureas I am working on getting ready for Stockholm the 21st.  I have some glazes to figure out on my new low fire stuff and the 21st is looming ... Also am working on our parade unit for sticks and stones.  We are making a Dragon! My particular part is the head. I'll post pictures as soon as it's ready. 

I'll be off to work here in a bit. The cafe is interesting this time of year. All kinds of people are on the move and you never know who you might meet on any given day.  I love that about the cafe, although it has it's regular routine, you just never know who might come in. I have always imagined if Garrison Keillor would walk in someday.  Since I work in our town's version of the "Chatterbox Cafe"  , I would just wait on him and not say anything if no one recognized him.
