It was really a beutiful day here , near record highs, I know the twin cities broke a heat record.  The fall has been gorgeous and long lasting this year. Most normal or what we used to call normal years, the leaves change color at the same time and a hard windy rain blows them all down, well that's what I think of as the usual fall. This year it got cold and then warmed up again, so things are still green and growing next to changing trees. Alot of the Maples are gone. The Oaks are a brick red to brown.   It was just balmy out when I went down to close up the barns.   I'm going out to check out the stars when I get done here.  They say on the news tonight, that this will end soon. Rain has been plentiful after a long summer of drought. This will help my perennials and the trees that were  stressed.                                                We will be setting up the display at the studio again , and our pottery will be on display at the Kanabec History Center for the upcoming holiday season.

With temps in the 80's today its hard to imagine winter is just around the corner.!
