The picture is from last Saturday. That's me and Karin Kramer. We attended the retirement party of our artist buddy, Miriam, from Sivertson Gallery in Duluth. The artist buddy is the person who handles your account at the gallery, the contact person. I will really miss Miriam, but they have a bunch of really great people working there. It was great seeing old art fair veterans. Most said they had cut back drastically on the art fairs they were doing. The consensus was that you just can't break even anymore. Well, all we can do is keep plugging, trying new things. I reopened my Etsy account, and I am starting over figuring out how things work there. It is a lot of work selling your own stuff, and now I have less and less time with my other two jobs.
Speaking of one of those jobs, we had our recital this afternoon for the music school. My kids did great! They really are a bright spot in my life, and I am so glad I fel into this particular job! I love my fiddle kids!!! Then this evening we had the district band and choir concert, where our daughter played euphonium. It was a music filled day, and tomorrow after I work at the cafe in the morning, we have Mad Cow band practice for the dance next Saturday night in Dalbo. We're so busy that winter is going to fly by. We're also making pots for the next firing and we do have a couple of shows this spring. well I'm off to edit pictures. Later, Denise
