I got my new neck warmin helmet!!!I got it  from   glitzconcepts.etsy.com  I love shopping on etsy I get so inspired by all of the creative people out there.   There are soaps, and handspun yarn, great pottery, and I haven't scratched the surface there myself.  

  Well This was the fifth or sixth below zero morning I quit counting.  but there is a smell inthe air, it's warming up!  When it starts, we won't see any more -20 mornings. The sun is getting too close now.  The bitter cold can't stick all day. Last week I had just started going to the work in the light of day, and now I'm back in the dark since we changed the clocks back.  Paul has started loading the kiln, but is taking time to conduct a pottery workshop at Ogilvie High School tomorrow.   I'd really like to speed dry one of my works in progress and get it in this firing. maybe I'll still have time.   I get most of tomorrow off.  So I will be packing and shipping,  and finishing those sculptures. 

   Saturday I am having my first beginner jam session with my fiddle students, and some guitars.  I will have some drums and shakers too.  This will be the first time for most of my beginners to play together.  I just can't wait.  I get so jazzed when I turn a lightbulb on in a kid, and I hear they are practicing all on their own.    It's so neat that I also have two cloggers in the group, and a couple of good singers.   I can't wait .
