What a day it was! First thing this morning I stumbled out to let the dogs out. I hooked Bug up and let him go, only realizing seconds too late that the other end was not attached! He was long gone. We looked for a long time and then gave up. I had work to do, and snow was predicted for later. We wanted toget in some wood before the weather hit. I shipped packages at the neighbors and looked out across the swamp forBuggy. Deb hadn't seen him, and I drove slow looking into the woods for a dog dragging a 20 foot leash. We imagined all sorts of things during the day. I ran to town and the higway was wet, by the time I got out there was an inch of heavy ice slush snow, and the wind was howling. I barely made it home, and was suprised to see Lily , the Play had been cancelled. Paul and I were both worried about bug, imagining all sorts of situations he could have gotten into.
Well he came home about an hour ago, still dragging his leash! I couldn't believe he made it home but this hellish storm would had killed him if he hadn't. Oh I am so relieved!
Well We are expecting 13 to seventeen inches of snow with high winds through Saturday. Welcome to April in Minnesota.!
