Once again our location will be at the  Kanabec History Center in  Mora.  
Returning activities are the nature walk with guide Ray Dreyer,  A
permanent Labyrinth  in a beautiful setting surrounded by cathedral- like
pines.
The grounds of the History Center are located on the west end of Mora.

Musical guests this year include
Brian Wicklund and "the Barley Jacks"
Those of you who saw  Brian's  trio last  year can expect  even more of the
great variety in musical genres .  Click on the links for the  websites.

Our featured performers  on Sunday for a 2 to 4 pm concert will be         
Monroe Crossing .  This very popular band has performed several times in
our area, and we are happy to have them for our Sunday concert event.

Our  crew of regular performers will be returning for Coffee house
performances in the Conference Center.
 Charlie Roth is a perennial
favorite with his One man band,
 Thea Ennen will be joining us on Sunday.  
"Second Fiddle"   a local band will be back, as well as the popular Friday
night  campfire jam with "Nobody's Weddin' "  



A performance with instruction from the
Wild Goose Chase Cloggers
will be a new feature on Saturday.

Cowboy storyteller
Lonesome Ron will be regaling us with folklore, and
watch for more performers to be announced.



I will be updating this page, and adding more information as our plans
continue, and we add guest artists.
Above is our float in the Mora Parade last Saturday August 1st  It was a crazy week getting it
all together.   Now starts the countdown to S&S VIII  we are nailing down the details, and I will
be updating here.
Activities

Hike the nature trails on the History Center grounds with
naturalist Ray Dreyer.  Learn about the local flora and fauna.
A giant canvas will be set up for  a collaborative mural.


Saturday night open jam  by the campfire.  Bring your
instrument and join in the fun!

Burning Person ceremony Saturday evening.

Returning favorites

Latana and her raku kiln will be back this year.  You can
purchase a bisque item, glaze it yourself, and watch as it is
fired and cooled before your eyes for you to take home.
NEW for 2010 there will be a supply of free items for
participants to finish and fire.



Drum Jams with Rob Young >>>>>>

Wood Fired Pizza Oven  will be cooking
all weekend with a variety of pizzas and
breads.  There will be soups and apples
and all of the regular goodies too.
